We've added the ability for group owners to now upload custom background images, and page banners for their private projects. Now you can splatter your brand all over the page!
Check it out in the Groups area.
Project owners can now flag ideas as "rejected" if the ideas are a little too crazy or just didn't follow your directions. Rejected ideas are hidden by default in the lists. Project Owners can reverse the rejected state easily and this will bring the idea back into default visibility on all lists.
Don't worry, users can click "show rejected ideas" and still see them - and the ideas can of course continue to be voted on... they will just be hidden by default until the project owner "un-rejects" them. We hope this will help keep clutter down and allow users to collaborate and focus on relevant ideas.
As you can probably tell, we've upgraded our look. This time, we have rolled out more work on our predictive market capabilities as well as some private group feature upgrades.
Whew - sorry for the quick disappearance there for a few weeks or so. We've been doing some upgrades and getting things ready for primetime. Take a look around and as always, we encourage feedback about features and other things that could make this service even better!
Updated look - and a new name. Since we are not officially open for business and still testing the service, we have been responding to feedback that co.labr8.com is a little hard to communicate verbally to friends. We've taken steps to ensure that we are easy to find and get to - introducing a new way to get here: shareyourbrain.com.
Over the next month you will see a shift to using that name instead of the original co.labr8.com brand. Both web addresses will always work, of course.
Tell us what you think!
Hi. We have been working on some great new features over the last few weeks. Some are already live (News Feeds - on the Activity page) and others will be live very soon.
We are giving the Project Owners more power this month: the choice to use a Predictive Market for choosing ideas instead of voting; Veto power over the winning idea; and the ability to remove spammy ideas and other junk postings from the project.
Soon after that, we'll have alternate options for Project Rewards that will allow projects to reward ideas and users with much more than Ideapoints.
As always, we welcome and encourage feedback - so please let us know if you have suggestions or concerns about the site.
Have fun!
We've added a few new rewards in the Redeem area. Now you can redeem your Ideapoints for a Sony PLAYSTATION®3 as well as a host of other cool prizes.
Bugs have been fixed and some other changes here and there you may notice.
More new stuff is on the way - stay tuned!
We welcome your feedback.
Well we cracked open the doors just a little. After months of solo development (hey, we are a startup) and a few rough starts and we're up and running. We have a ton of great ideas still to be developed and of course we will be evolving the look of things around here as feedback trickles in and we find out what works and what doesn't.
Please trickle that feedback in...
